The United States Embassy in Cameroon is set to present “America in 3 Days” in an outreach event scheduled from April 17 to 19. The event will be held at the Universitaire de la Côte in Logbessou, Douala, Littoral Region of Cameroon.
This engaging outreach event aims to offer valuable insights into the resources and opportunities provided by the U.S. Embassy in Cameroon.
“America in 3 Days” is designed to provide faculty, students, parents, and the general public with a comprehensive understanding of U.S. Government-funded academic and professional exchange programs, library and digital resources, grant opportunities, and the process of studying in the United States, including guidance on applying for student visas.
The three-day program will feature a wide range of activities catering to various interests, such as establishing partnerships with American universities and hosting Fulbright Specialists or Fulbright Scholars.
Highlights of the event will include an opening ceremony chaired by the President of Institut Universitaire de la Côte, together with the U.S. Embassy Branch Office Director. The program will include presentations on U.S. government-funded resources and programs, soft skills training sessions, as well as American culture games and prizes, among other activities.
This public event is open to students, lecturers, parents, university graduates, NGO leaders, and civil society organizations.
