The Minister of Commerce, Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana, has inaugurated the Wheat Shopping Complex, located at Odza, Yaounde 4 Subdivision. The shopping complex was inaugurated on May 3.

During the inauguration ceremony, Minister Mbarga Atangana commended the Blé d’Or group for their efforts in promoting value chains and supporting the growth of Cameroon’s large distribution ecosystem.
He emphasized the importance of making essential consumer products more readily available to the public, aligning with the government’s ongoing policy to combat rising living costs.
Expressing his vision for the future, Minister Mbarga Atangana encouraged the Golden Wheat Group to expand beyond Yaoundé and establish a presence in other Cameroonian cities.
He highlighted the potential for job creation and economic stimulation through such expansion, addressing the pressing challenge of youth unemployment within the country.

“It’s time to move further, faster, and stronger,” declared Minister Mbarga Atangana. “Consumer demand is high, and thousands of jobs can be created, contributing to the solution of youth unemployment in our nation.”
Rostant Francis Kueka, Managing Director General of the Blé d’Or group, expressed his commitment to exceeding customer expectations at the Odza Golden Wheat Shopping Complex.
He stressed the high quality of the products offered, with a significant focus on local goods, constituting nearly 45 percentage of the available selection.
