Harvard School Complex Etoug-Ebe, Yaounde on May 31st celebrated its graduating class in a ceremony filled with excitement and anticipation.
The ceremony recognized remarkable pupils for their academic achievements, extracurricular contributions, and unwavering dedication to their education.
Speaking during the graduation ceremony, Jenifa Esong, Headmistress of the institution, praised the Class Six pupils for their outstanding performance and the Nursery Two students for their significant improvement.
“Harvard graduates’ special people,” she declared, “each with their own unique talents.” Jenifa Esong highlighted the excellent results in the Common Entrance exams, expressing confidence that the graduates will excel in their First School Leaving Certificates.
Addressing the parents, Jenifa Esong emphasized the school’s commitment to nurturing each child’s potential. “We believe in building confidence in our students, so wherever they go, they know they are capable of achieving great things,” she stated.
Acknowledging the challenges of the just ending academic year, the Headmistress expressed gratitude for ending the year on a positive note.
However, a graduating student echoed this appreciation, stating, “I am happy to be graduating today. I thank my parents and my school for supporting me in passing my exams.”
According to information, Harvard School Complex Etoug-Ebe boasts impressive academic achievements. The school dominated the Regional Mock exams, with 9 out of the top 10 students coming from their institution.
In the Government Common Entrance, all 82 participating pupils passed in List A placements, with many earning honors and distinctions. The highest average score reached a remarkable 19.3.
As a unique Anglo-Saxon Complex offering education from Nursery to High School, Harvard School Complex Etoug-Ebe is situated below the hills of Mewoulou Etoug-Ebe.
The school has a history of high performance in the General Certificate of Education (GCE) Ordinary and Advanced Levels.
With their established commercial section already thriving, the institution is looking forward to adding an industrial section in the future.
