Children with disabilities have showcased their talents at a joyful Christmas feast celebration held at the Timely Performance Care Center (TPCC) on Thursday, December 19. The event provided a vibrant platform for these young stars to express themselves through music, art, and performance, fostering a sense of community and inclusion.

Families, friends, and supporters gathered to celebrate not only the holiday spirit but also the incredible achievements of these talented individuals, reminding everyone that every child has something special to share.
During the event, TPCC Manager Mathias Nkwenti explained that the celebration was an opportunity to highlight the progress made by both teachers and students since the academic year began in September.

“We want to expose the children’s talents,” Nkwenti said. “They have made significant progress, and we believe in their abilities. We offer a variety of services to all children, treating them as individuals with potential, not limitations.”
Nkwenti encouraged parents to enroll their children with disabilities in schools like TPCC, stressing the importance of education and the wealth of talent these children possess. He also appealed to authorities for support in providing resources and assistance to the institution.

“These children have immense talents. I also urge the authorities to support us in any way they can. It’s not easy working with these children,” he added.
Brendaline Tani Ndinyuy, a teacher at TPCC said, “At Timely Performance Care Center, we have children with all types of disabilities. We are doing our best to ensure that the children under our care excel. While we face challenges, we remain committed to our mission,” she said.

Ndinyuy stated that they tailor their approach based on each child’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP), including specialized programs for children with autism.
Looking ahead, she noted that the second term will see continued focus on the IEPs, as some children have made significant progress. “We will continue to work closely with parents to support our children’s development,” she added.

Parents expressed joy and pride as they watched their children perform in dance, drama, and painting. Many were left speechless, overwhelmed by the talent on display.
