Draws for the TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2024 has been scheduled to take place at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre in Nairobi, Kenya, on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.
The tournament, exclusively featuring African players competing in their domestic leagues, will unfold across Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania from February 1 to 28, 2025.
The TotalEnergies CHAN 2024 will showcase some of the continent’s footballing powerhouses, including Nigeria as well as the reigning champions, Senegal. The Senegalese team clinched their first title three years ago, triumphing over hosts Algeria in a thrilling final in Algiers.
As with previous editions, this year’s CHAN promises to be a vibrant display of African football, serving as a platform for emerging talent to shine. Among the rising stars to watch is Lamine Camara, 21 years old, who was awarded Young Player of the Year at the 2024 CAF Awards.
With captivating matches and raw talent on display, the TotalEnergies CHAN 2024 is set to be a landmark event in African football, uniting fans and nations in celebration of the beautiful game.
